Sandy Lane 03:57
Well, we took a walk down on Sandy Lane, laughter on our lips, blood pumping through our veins, with the smell of Ulster fields in summer, for all these years you've been my lover and my friend Well, to walk a couple of sunshine miles, with a western girl with a killer smile, oh the pleasure's mine, and we watched the planes flying overhead, and wondered where we might decide to be instead Chorus But you've got to watch what you take for granted, life's too fragile to understand it, just a few days after Sandy Lane, my girl went to a wedding, and never came home again Well, I took a walk down on Sandy Lane, to try and see if I could find that place again, how you wore that dress, it always made me lose it, it's a memory now and I still use it every day Now I'm sick of sorrow, and I'm done with grieving, almost a year has gone, I can't believe, where tranquilty meets the motorway, well I'll always check my rear view mirror anyway Chorus Cause you've got to watch what you take for granted, life's too fragile to understand it, just a few days after Sandy Lane, my girl went to a wedding, and never came home again Oh Lord no, my girl went to a wedding, and never came home again

Since the first time we met, I knew I was blessed to have known you, what have we done my boy, what have we done my boy? And I can only hope that you've held it close, how I showed you, some things are stronger than blood, my boy, what have we done my boy....my son.. Do you need to run? Sometimes we feel so volatile and dumb, do you need to run? Well I guess we'd best keep following the sun Words cannot express or describe the mess since I lost you, what have we done my boy, what have I done my boy, coming home with a broken head, and climbing into an empty bed isn't fun my boy, what have I done my boy, my son... Do you need to run? Sometimes we feel so volatile and dumb, do you need to run? Well I guess we'd best keep following the sun And now it seems that you hold my resurrection in your hands Don't kill the dream, 'cause although I sometimes let you down, I never, ever would have let you go My son, do you need to run? Sometimes we feel so volatile and dumb, do you need to run? Well I guess we'd best keep following the sun

Swans 04:40
If you're down at the riverside, and you see a swan alone, you see a boy who's lost his partner, you see a girl who's far from home To get where we need to in life, sometimes we must be braver So girl, be careful with this boy, his heart has no room for hurt, you've got to bring him joy And boy, be careful with this girl, she looks to you for hope, you've got to change her world I was down at the riverside, I did not know what I'd find I saw swans, there were two together, their bodies were entwined Sometimes the best things in life come to those who've waited So girl, be careful with this boy, his heart has no room for hurt, you've got to bring him joy And boy, be careful with this girl, she looks to you for hope, you've got to change her world This surreal awakening has driven me to tears, it's like falling in love at first sight, with someone you've known for years Girl, be careful with this boy, his heart has no room for hurt, you've got to bring him joy Oh, and boy, be careful with this girl, she looks to you for hope, you've got to change her world

Cathedral 03:25
You can put your hand in my hand, we can help each other make a stand, if you're worried for the future 'cause you have not made a plan, you can put your hand in my hand You can end your hurting with me, letting go is hard, but sets you free We will break our rear view mirrors, we will make new memories, you can end your huring with me If you're tangled and you're twisted 'cause the rain keeps pouring down, think of how you cannot live without the water You can come to my cathedral, I will lay you on the ground, we can live and love like we oughta I will put my hand in your hand, we we will help each other make a stand, if you'll join me on this journey I will be your promised land, I will put my hand in your hand If you're tangled and you're twisted 'cause the rain keeps pouring down, think of how you cannot live without that water You can come to my cathedral, I will lay you on the ground, we can live and love like we oughta Oh, we can live and love like we oughta
